Launch your Job Search Ministry in four easy steps …

  1. First and foremost, identify two to three ministry leaders in your congregation that have a passion for ministry. Ideally, these individuals would have a broad career background and/or experience in Human Resources, Recruiting, Staffing, or other related professional/management experience.
  2. Register the leadership team for the Faith Career Advisor training. The Faith Career Advisor Training equips the ministry team with the technical expertise necessary to advise individuals in the matters of an effective job search. The four-day, 28-hour training event covers the Mechanics of the Job Search, Train-the-Trainer, Train-the-Coach, Ministry Implementation, and Marketing Mechanics.
  3. Enroll in the Job Search Ministry Network to receive access to all the ministry and technical resources and training necessary to maintain your Job Search Ministry with ease. Your annual membership gives the Faith Career Advisor access to the JSM Library and One Critical Day curriculum. These resources include PowerPoint presentations, handouts, forms, job search samples, exercises, activities, and marketing materials and is a central source of support for a thriving Job Search Ministry. Your membership also includes ongoing training and support for the leadership team.
